A destination pub and restaurant with rooms in Ponteland, The Hawk reopens this spring with a refined concept celebrating Northumberland’s food heritage, local producers, and countryside hospitality.
Local provenance is at the heart of the food offering – with the team working closely with Northumberland suppliers. Complementing the menu is an impressive wine selection as well as local ales, Guinness on tap, and seasonal serves.
Alongside the dining spaces, a welcoming bar area has sport on TV, electronic darts, and a programme of live music. The extensive outdoor area will open in full this summer with fire pits and festoon lighting, a stretch teepee available for exclusive hire for up to 50 guests, converted container kitchens hosting guest chefs, and a converted vintage Citroën van serving Catch Fish & Chips. Alongside the restaurant, The Hawk’s farm shop offers a curated selection of Northumberland produce and artisan goods, plus Hawkstone lager and Diddly Squat Farm products.

The prize is for the winner and cannot to be given away as a gift. The £100 voucher can be redeemed on food and drink at The Hawk, Sunday-Friday, before December 30, 2026. Booking in advance is essential, and is to be arranged directly with the team at The Hawk (dates subject to availability). The prize is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and there is no cash alternative. All extras to be paid for. The winner will be drawn at random and notified within three days of the closing date.
