The Wood Oven, Wylam – renowned for its wood-fired pizzas – is now open for brunch every weekend.
After months of hard work, research and taste testing, Monty’s at the Wood Oven is serving brunch on Saturdays and Sundays 10am-2pm.
The menu includes shakshuka, bagels, traditional breakfasts, melts, pastries, cakes, Bloody Mary’s, and lots more.
All the bread is baked in the wood oven, and there’s coffee from Pumphrey’s in Blaydon and ice cream from Caffe Ginevra in Prudhoe.
Monty’s is walk-in only, and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
