InHouse offers community space for events and fundraisers

InHouse Inspired Room Design – the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living solutions provider – is offering its Hexham showroom for local organisations, charities and schools to use for a variety of events and fundraisers.

Located in Bridge End Industrial Estate, the showroom is home to elegant designs, innovative German technologies and fully functional kitchens – making it an ideal venue for cooking demonstrations, bake-offs, educational classes, charity events, pop-up shops, team building exercises and group fundraisers.

“We are thrilled to extend an invitation to local organisations, small businesses, charities and community groups to make use of our exceptional showroom space, free of charge,” said assistant manager Lucy Clarke. “For us, it’s about truly engaging with community spirit. Many of our team live locally and are excited to support local initiatives. Our showroom is a spacious and stylish setting, adaptable for various event formats and sizes. We have beautiful bar and lounge areas for hosting and three large working kitchens fully equipped with tableware, cooking and serving equipment, a large carpark and beautiful viewing space for hosting memorable events.”

In May, InHouse hosted Tynedale Rugby Club and local chef consultant Steven Murray for a cooking challenge with five players, including sponsored first team member Rob Parker. “We had such fun with Stevie and the kitchens are seriously impressive,” said Rob. “We learned a lot and loved meeting the team who support our club. It’s great to know we can host our own fundraisers and team-building events in the building, which is right on our doorstep.”

Meanwhile, local caterer Clara Nicholl used the Vienna kitchen to host her first cooking demonstration. Clara guided 25 of her followers through a fool proof dinner party menu, complete with wine pairings and recipe cards. She will be hosting monthly cooking evenings – open to InHouse customers and the local community – this summer, with the next event set for August 20.

Clara said: “My customers have always expressed an interest in interactive cooking sessions and I’ve wanted to launch demonstrations for a while, but needed a kitchen with space for more than a few guests. With no hire fee at InHouse, I can keep costs affordable for my guests and the space is limitless. It’s a fantastic opportunity to engage with my customers and welcome new members from the community. The InHouse team has been incredibly accommodating, and the kitchens are beautiful. I’m so excited to use their range of incredible appliances and put them to the test over the next few events.”

As well as the cooking spaces, a 22-seat formal conference room provides space for hosting meetings and networking opportunities. It features internal table plugs, projector screens and a working kitchen equipped with coffee machines, tableware and fridges.
