The award-winning Dobson & Parnell is set in a stunning building on Queen Street on Newcastle’s Quayside, with the talented team offering a modern British dining experience which combines North East traditions and seasonal ingredients with subtle global influences.
Having celebrated its 10th birthday earlier this year, the restaurant – which is part of the Hooked On Group alongside Blackfriars and Hinnies – has risen to new heights with an extensive transformation reimagining the space. The relaunch introduced an open kitchen, a more sociable layout, and a flexible approach designed to suit everything from casual drinks and small plates to celebratory shared feasts.
Dobson & Parnell has built a reputation for its refined yet approachable cooking, earning industry recognition, awards and a loyal following. Led by head chef Kyle Bowman, the team’s seasonal menus feature dishes ranging from whole North Shields wild turbot and Beef Wellington to soy-braised short rib and grilled monkfish, alongside plant-based plates such as charred hispi cabbage with wild garlic emulsion, and vegan nduja bhaji with lentil dhal.

The prize is for the winner and a guest, and cannot to be given away as a gift. It includes a three-course meal for two plus a glass of fizz each. The prize is to be taken within one year of the voucher issue date, and your visit is to be arranged directly with the team at Dobson & Parnell (dates subject to availability, voucher can be used Monday-Friday before 7pm and Saturday before 6pm). Please state you are using a voucher when booking. The prize is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and there is no cash alternative. All extras to be paid for. The winner will be drawn at random and notified within three days of the closing date.
