Khai Khai launches Indian breakfast menu

Award-winning Newcastle restaurant Khai Khai is serving up a new weekend breakfast menu – starting Saturday April 8.

An authentic journey through the Indian subcontinent, the quayside restaurant – which collaborated with Michelin-starred chef Alfred Prasad to develop the new menu – will be serving up dishes including Akuri Toast, Aloo Paratha, Masala Mash & Pooris alongside a range of healthy smoothies, fresh-squeezed orange juices, lassis, morning cocktails, and teas and coffees.

Owner Jaf Ali said: “I am delighted to introduce another dining option which raises the local breakfast bar and offers residents and visitors a place to refuel, relax and start their day. It’s a specially curated menu featuring expertly selected dishes and we hope people like it. The Khai Khai experience has always been a combination of fresh produce, tradition and skillful and passionate cooking, brought together in a relaxed atmosphere. What better way to kick off each weekend than to bring this vibe to breakfast.”
