A one-of-a-kind feast, the Dabba Sunday roast merges British comfort food with the soul-stirring flavours of Indian homecooking.
Served every Sunday at Dabbawal’s Jesmond and High Bridge restaurants, the chef team brings all their skill to the cooking methods and subtle spicing – with charred, smoky meats roasted deep inside the charcoal tandoor and served alongside golden saffron mash and a punchy Rogan Josh gravy or Makhani Masala sauce – both perfect for dunking gunpowder roast potatoes.
The Dabba Sunday Roast is available every Sunday noon-4.30pm.

The prize is for the winner and a guest, and cannot to be given away as a gift. It includes a three-course meal for two from the Dabba Sunday Roast menu only. The prize is to be taken before December 30, 2026 and is to be arranged directly with the team at Dabbawal (dates subject to availability). The prize is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and there is no cash alternative. All extras to be paid for. The winner will be drawn at random and notified within three days of the closing date.
