Peace & Loaf, the Jesmond restaurant led by chef-patron Dave Coulson, has unveiled a fresh vision, a revitalised team, and a return to the rich culinary ethos that made it a household name in the North East.

Guided by Dave and newly appointed manager James Corrighan, Peace & Loaf is aiming to deliver a dining experience that feels exciting, immersive and rooted in British seasonality and creativity.

Menus are set to celebrate the land and sea, highlighting foraged ingredients, artisan suppliers and seasonal produce. They will be served alongside playful, sense-driven drinks pairings that challenge the expected – featuring sherries, sake, herbal infusions, craft cocktails and more.

The restaurant is also set to host a series of themed experiences – from elegant supper clubs to experimental tasting nights.

“We want to do more than serve food,” said James. “We want to create stories at the table, flavours that resonate, surprises that spark conversation and a sense of wonder in every detail.”
