Cafebar eighteen38 has opened at Dalton Park Outlet in the Scottish operator’s first venture across the border.
The venue will offer guests a premium dining experience – complete with an elegant bar – with food served throughout the day and into the evening.
The menu – which ranges from hearty breakfasts to family dinners – promises a balance of tradition and innovation, celebrating the best of Scottish cuisine combined with the flavours of the North East. Meat sourced from David Stein Butchers will include 21-day-aged steaks, while there’s also small plates for sharing, burgers, pizzas, salads and more.
Guests can also enjoy an exclusive cocktail – Dalton Delight – crafted in collaboration with Durham-based WL Distillery. There’s also the opportunity for guests to cook their own steaks at their table, while there’ll be live entertainment from local artists at weekends, and the chance to relax outside when the sun is shining.

Cafebar eighteen38 is open Monday-Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday-Saturday 9am-11pm, and Sunday 9am-9pm.
