A year since Brocksbushes moved into its impressive new home, the team is set to host a first birthday bash to celebrate the occasion.
The event will take place on Saturday July 26 and Sunday July 27, with the weekend set to be packed with family-friendly activities, live music and foodie treats.
There’ll be free birthday cupcakes – with donations being collected for The Great North Air Ambulance – a golden ticket hunt with £50 Brocksbushes hampers to be won, live music by Jason Arnup, 10% off purchases and double points for loyalty card holders, plus bouncy castles and face painting. There’ll also be a Seasonal Sunday Market on July 27 featuring local makers, producers and independent traders.
“This past year has been truly incredible,” said Brocksbushes director Rose Dickinson. “We’ve loved watching the community embrace everything we’ve worked so hard to build. This weekend is our way of saying thank you. We want to celebrate with all the families who’ve supported us, and we hope everyone leaves with a smile, a cupcake, and maybe even a golden ticket!”
