The Rabbit Hole has won an enviable reputation for its Cantonese fusion food, stunning interiors and intimate atmosphere. This reputation was enhanced further this summer when the restaurant was listed in the Harden’s guide for the first time.
The guide, which has been curating reviews of the UK’s most notable restaurants for 34 years with some 50,000 reviews submitted by diners annually, commends the “delightful, small, and intimate Chinese joint down a cobbled side street near the town centre.”
The Rabbit Hole, on Hallgarth Street, opened in 2018 and is home to menus and interiors that evoke the atmosphere of the high-end restaurants of Shanghai. The Zen Group venue is renowned for its inventive small plates, brilliant dim sum and traditional dishes – scoring consistently highly for its ambiance, service and culinary flair.

The prize is for the winner and a guest, and cannot to be given away as a gift. It includes a meal for two to the value of £80 as well as two cocktails. The prize is to be taken before November 30, 2026 and is to be arranged directly with the team at The Rabbit Hole (dates subject to availability). The prize is non-transferable, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, and there is no cash alternative. All extras to be paid for. The winner will be drawn at random and notified within three days of the closing date.
