Twice as many reasons to visit Salt Market Social

Salt Market Social on North Shields Fish Quay is doubling its number of Socials – moving from monthly to fortnightly events.

June’s Socials will take place Thursday June 10-Sunday June 13 and Thursday June 24-Sunday June 27, and all dates can be booked now.

Located in a converted factory, Salt Market Social is home to unique décor and street art. North East craft beers are served alongside some some nation’s top breweries and cocktails, while each Social welcomes five local food traders. This summer’s food will include Lobo Rojo’s Mexican tacos, Chef Matei Baran’s posh street food, Tandoori Naan Wraps from Hullabaloo, and South American flavours from Cocina Peru. There will also be appearances from Red Head’s mac n cheese, Bao Down, Hatch 76 and their duck specialties, Med Head with their Lebanese flat breads, Pan Asia, and Parmorama.

Breweries serving at the events include Wylam, Full Circle, Two By Two, Almasty, Northern Alchemy and Out There plus the specially brewed Tommy Y Pale Ale as the house beer from Fish Quay neighbours Flash House.

Tables are available for up to eight people and as restrictions ease the venue will also cater for larger parties. For reservations go to www.resdiary.com/restaurant/saltmarketsocial
