The Globe Inn, Dumfries has launched its summer menu and it’s one worth travelling for.
As the Dumfries & Galloway landscape bursts into vibrant life, so too does the kitchen at The Globe, which is led by head chef Fraser Cameron. He said: “This summer menu has been designed to showcase the finest seasonal produce, highlighting the flavours of the south of Scotland. We’ve nurtured our relationships with local suppliers, ensuring that every ingredient arrives at our door at its absolute peak. Our aim is to let the inherent quality and character of these ingredients shine through in every single dish.”
Highlights include Galloway beef paired with a unique interpretation of the humble hash brown, whisky smoked salmon and prawn ravioli with beetroot and Sauce Americaine, and Dongpo pork belly with caramelised cauliflower puree and pommes rosti.
