Help Brocksbushes Pick a Pie this British Pie Week

Brocksbushes is inviting people to come and Pick a Pie as part of British Pie Week – with the winner set to become a permanent fixture in the deli and tea room.

From Monday March 6 to Sunday March 12, three pies will be facing off to become Brocksbushes’ permanent vegetarian pie – a title currently held by cheese & onion. Two new contenders – a rainbow vegetable pie, featuring a colourful array of layered Mediterranean vegetables; and the vegetable balti pie, with chunky potatoes and vegetables, and warm Indian spices – are looking to claim the top spot this Pie Week.

All three pies will be available to taste during the week, when there will also be pie-themed daily specials on offer in the tea room and loyalty card holders will receive double points all week.

Votes will be counted at the end of the week and the pick of the pies announced soon after. The winning pie will be available year-round to takeaway from the Farm Shop Deli, and to enjoy in the tea room.

Brocksbushes started making pies more than 30 years ago and they’ve been a firm favourite on the menu ever since. Top of the pies is corned beef – a classic which still outsells the other varieties by miles. Made on the farm, the pies are made with the best quality ingredients, including locally sourced meat, eggs and milk. With more than 20,000 slices of homemade pie and quiche sold every year, changing one of the flavours will be a big decision.
