Born from the idea that great coffee is an experience not just a drink, Tuffy & Co. is sourcing beans from growers around the world and roasting them in small batches to enjoy at home and in local cafés and coffee shops.
The team, led by owner and accredited barista and coffee roaster Petra Murdoch, delivers coffee to homes across the region and is working with businesses including Red Cake Box in Whitburn, Old School Kitchen in Houghton-le-Spring, and The Good Old Apple Café in Sunderland.
“Coffee has always been more than a drink for me – it’s memories of years spent in Melbourne around the unmistakable scent of freshly roasted coffee,” said Petra. “I always wanted to share the rituals, the community and the comfort that can be found in great coffee – and that’s why I created Tuffy & Co. As well as sharing coffee with people, I’d love to build lasting connections with local cafés and small businesses who pour their heart into what they do as well.”
