Pub classics, street food and light bites are all on the menu at The Northumberland Arms’ new tipi restaurant.
Chefs at the Felton pub are welcoming customers back with a new menu which includes chicken terrine, the Northumberland grazing platter for two, wasabi salmon and venison Bolognese, and a choice of sandwiches. Those looking for something more substantial can choose from a wide range of mains such as fish of the day, Northumberland Arms house ribeye, garlic roast chicken breast, slow cooked pork belly and pan-fried salmon.
There will also be a selection of street food on offer, with dishes including chicken shawarma, Vietnamese pickled ginger noodle box, harissa spiced lamb flat breads, sweet Korean pork bao buns and Brown Ale BBQ chicken wings.
Stuart Young of the Northumberland Pub Company, which owns The Northumberland Arms, said: “We are delighted to be finally welcoming customers back to the pub and hopefully it won’t be long before we can invite people indoors too. Until then we think our tipi restaurant is a great way to make the most of al fresco dining without having to worry about the weather – and we have plenty of outdoor seating for the brighter days too.”
Those wishing to dine in the outdoor tipi restaurant must book in advance by calling 01670 787370, with a £10 deposit per person to secure a booking, while uncovered, outdoor seating is available on a first come, first served basis.
