Kairen Hind, one half of the mother-daughter team behind Teasy Does It in Heaton picked up a Highly Commended mention at the National Cupcake Championships with her Marmite (love it or hate it) cupcakes. Kairen, who runs the café alongside her mum Lesley, bakes most of the treats you’ll find there, from gingerbread houses to cake pops.
