The Northumberland Cheese Company has added more awards to its collection.
In the eighth Artisan Cheese Awards in Melton Mowbray, which brought together more than 500 cheeses from across Great Britain and Ireland, Chesterwood won gold in the smoked category as well as being crowned overall class champion. Meanwhile, Elsdon was awarded silver by the 80-strong team of judges from across the industry in the goat category.
The team also collected three bronze medals at the British Cheese Awards earlier this year.
