The Northumberland Cheese Company has taken over the running of cheeseboxclub.co.uk
The cheese subscription service offers rolling deliveries set to your chosen schedule – monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly – with cheese only, cheese and beer, and cheese and wine options available. There’s also the option to gift three-, six- or 12-month subscriptions to your favourite cheese-lovers.
Each subscription box includes five cheeses, tasting notes, a chutney, and oatcakes/cheese biscuits. The cheeses are not only from Northumberland Cheese Co – with the boxes including expert selections from UK producers as well as continental cheeses – and no cheese will be repeated within six months. The team is also celebrating several recent award wins. They picked up three prizes at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards – gold for their Nettle and Redesdale varieties and silver for the Oak Smoked cheese. Nettle also placed second in both the Royal Cheshire County Show and Mid Somerset Show, while the Chesterwood goats’ cheese placed first at the Great Yorkshire Show.
