Tango in Durham City, Brack Burger, Fat Hippo and Lola Jeans have been included in a list of the Best burgers in Britain by Love Food.
The four North East-based operators feature on the list alongside national brands and celebrated names from across the country.
Tango, which was based on Elvet Bridge before moving to a venue on Saddler Street in October last year, was praised for its classic beef, fried chicken, crispy halloumi and vegan patties as well as its acclaimed Sunday burger.
