DOOD to host first wine event with Lebanon’s Château Ksara

Newcastle Quayside restaurant DOOD will host its first wine dinner this autumn – welcoming guests to an evening of food, wine and storytelling in partnership with Château Ksara, Lebanon’s oldest winery.

The one-night-only event on Wednesday October 29 will see five courses paired with five wines. Leading the evening will be George Sara, co-owner of Château Ksara, alongside award-winning wine writer Michael Karam. Together, they will share the story of Lebanon’s 5,000 years of winemaking while guiding guests through each pairing.

Founded in 1857 in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, Château Ksara is one of the country’s most respected wineries and the DOOD team has created a menu specially for the occasion. Tickets are £95 per person. To book, email eat@thedood.co.uk, call 0191 429 8382 or visit thedood.co.uk
