Leila Lily’s has revealed a series of new menus to see diners and partygoers through the festive season in style.
The Grey Street, Newcastle venue has created menus which bring together creativity, theatricality and regional produce.
Starters include a whipped duck liver parfait with spiced plum chutney, butternut squash risotto and smoked salmon and prawn roulade. Main course choices include roast bacon-wrapped turkey, slow roast pork belly, Mibrasa teriyaki salmon and a Romano pepper and bulgur wheat tabbouleh – with Christmas pudding, chocolate delice and an eggnog crème brûlée to finish.
The afternoon tea menu has also been given a festive feel with savouries including turkey and stuffing with cranberry jam sandwiches, truffle and brie toast, and Cheddar and leek quiche. The sweet menu features black chocolate cherry and pistachio trifle, mince pies with a clementine crumble topping, festive brownies and a cranberry scone with jam and clotted cream.
The Christmas Fayre menu, which is available now, is priced at £20 for two courses and £25 for three, while afternoon tea costs £20 a head with additional charges for those wishing to include a glass of Champagne or prosecco.
