Do your bit for the brilliant Magic Hat pop-up café and market in Newcastle and back its crowdfunding campaign for a permanent home. Its volunteers collect surplus food from shops, supermarkets, farms etc and transform it into gorgeous meals for a weekly café and takeaway at Byker Community Centre on Friday evenings, and a pay-as-you-feel market Friday evenings and Saturday mornings.
