The Brocksbushes Pumpkin Experience is set to return in October – and this year is set to be the biggest yet for the North East’s most popular pumpkin patch.
The autumn event will see the farm transformed into a seasonal playground for families, friends and pumpkin enthusiasts of all ages. Visitors can look forward to more photo opportunities and activities than ever before with slides, mazes, the famous pumpkin house, and lots more.
Pumpkin carving is back for 2025 too – with guests invited to pick their perfect pumpkin straight from the field then get creative in the dedicated carving tent.
Brocksbushes’ pumpkins are grown on the farm just outside of Corbridge, and this year the team has planted more than 160,000 of them – from tiny gourds to giant whoppers.
The event’s food village is also expanding for 2025, with the lineup of local vendors including homemade food and sweet treats from Brocksbushes Bites, Fire & Dough wood-fired pizza, bold Vietnamese flavours from The Big Banh, and sugary treats from Churro Van.
Woof Wednesdays are also new for 2025 – with dogs invited into the pumpkin patch with their owners on October 22 and 29. There’ll also be rides and attractions (operating on a pay as you go basis) throughout the event, plus two special twilight sessions with live music, food and seasonal drinks on Friday October 17 and Friday October 24.
“Every year we try to make the Pumpkin Experience bigger and more exciting – and 2025 really is our biggest leap yet,” said Brocksbushes Farm Shop director Rose Dickinson. “We’ve brought back carving, added more photo moments, expanded the food offering, and introduced special twilight sessions. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the pumpkin magic!”
The Brocksbushes Pumpkin Experience runs October 4-5, October 11-12, and every day October 17-31.
