Black Sheep brewery expands portfolio with vodka and cider launches

Black Sheep Brewery’s expansion into new markets has continued with the launch of its first vodka and cider.

Handmade in small batches in Masham, North Yorkshire, Black Sheep Vodka is distilled with the brewery’s rich, dark Imperial Russian stout beer. Rather than creating a flavoured spirit, the beer, which is added to the distillation, adds an extra depth and layer giving a rich creaminess to the finished vodka.

Meanwhile, Bobby Horn’s Easy Apple Cider features 100% British apples and a higher juice content for a better flavour, and is available in pubs and 440ml cans. A premium, 4.7% ABV medium dry cider, it is a refreshingly fruity, sessionable medium dry full-flavoured cider.

The launches follow Black Sheep’s Yorkshire Dry Gin, which was created in 2019 and Yorkshire lager, 54 which was released in 2017.
