Berry cordial
  • 500g blackcurrants
  • 500ml vodka
  • 500g granulated sugar
  1. Wash the berries and dry completely.
  2. Pour the sugar into large jars or bottles and fill the remaining space with berries.
  3. Fill up with vodka to cover the berries.
  4. Seal and set aside for 2 months, shaking every week.
  5. Strain through a fine metal sieve then through a coffee filter.
  6. Pour into pretty bottles for use as a cordial.
