Baked figs
 
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
  • 8 large fresh figs
  • 2 tbsp (approx) runny honey
  • splash of port or Madeira
  • vanilla ice cream to serve
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 200C/Gas 6. Halve figs, place in a baking dish flesh side down, drizzle over honey and wine, cover and bake for 20 mins. Serve with the syrup from the dish and ice cream.
