The North East’s artisan ice cream makers cleaned up at the National Ice Cream Competition recently, with Di Meo’s in Whitley Bay leading the way with success in the Best Artisan Dairy Ice Cream category.
There were also prizes for Seaham’s Lickety Split, Amble’s Spurelli, South Shields’ Joe Minchella, Minchella’s of Seburn, and Ciccarelli in Blyth. Sweet!
