Victor Indigo November has been shortlisted in the Independent Champagne & Sparkling Wine Retailer of the Year category at the prestigious Drinks Retailing Awards.
VIN is one of just three wine shops to make it on to the shortlist, and the winner will be announced at a black tie dinner in London on 2 February 2027.
Charlotte and Lorrie Fenwick opened the shop in 2023, specialising in French wine, cheese and charcuterie. Charlotte says: “Our focus has always been on finding bubbles which represent the best price to quality ratio, and that’s resulted in a strong lineup of small producer Champagnes, a diverse range of Crémants, and a few hidden gems. We couldn’t be prouder that our little shop in Gateshead has made the shortlist alongside two juggernauts of the independent wine merchant world.”
