Pine, House of Tides and Hjem have been highlighted among the world’s top restaurants in La Liste 2025.
The ninth edition of La Liste, which ranks the top-1,000 restaurants around the world, gave Pine a score of 87.50 out of a possible 100 while House of Tides received a score of 85.00, and Hjem received a 82.50 score.
Started in 2015, initially only publishing a list of 1,000 restaurants, La Liste has grown to cover 195 countries and issues a parallel list highlighting the top-1,000 hotels worldwide. It has its own scoring system based on reviews, guidebooks and trusted publications.
Alongside the announcement of the top-1,000 restaurants, 12 special awards were also issued, including a new Show-to-Table category which highlights immersive culinary experiences. England was recognised as a foodie destination, winning the New Destination Champion Award with the country represented by Simon Rogan of L’Enclume (one of nine restaurants at the top of the list with scores of 99.50), Clare Smyth of Core, Margot Henderson of Rochelle Canteen, and Josh and Victoria Overington of Myse.
