The Hart family’s what’s left pudding

Ingredients
- a mixture of leftover or stale croissants, brioche and bread
- leftover Christmas pudding and/or Christmas cake (with icing)
- leftover mincemeat
- 1200ml custard
- 300g double cream
- butter, for greasing the dish
Method
- Preheat the oven to 170C/Gas3.
- Butter a large rectangular casserole dish.
- Tear apart the leftover breads, croissants etc. and fill the dish.
- Chop the cake and pudding into small cubes and place in and around the other leftovers then dollop mincemeat around the dish.
- Mix the cream with the custard and pour over the top.
- Bake for approx 30 mins.
- Serve with cream or ice cream and as soon as you’ve finished this dessert make your New Year’s resolution.
