The Argie Bhaji streetfood battle will return to Wylam Brewery on November 8-9.
A celebration of Indian cuisine offering a mouth-watering array of small plates, curries, sides, and creative fusion, the event will bring together operators from across the region, along with festival and event favourites serving up more food and drinks.
Vendors taking part in the event include Big Fat Indian Kitchen, Mivesi, Snackwallah, My Delhi, Funky Indian Wali, Thali Tray, Chakh Dhoom, The Bombay Express, Paninaro Sud Africano, Ury, Square, Jam Jar, Kolamba, Wylam Kitchen, Redheads Mac & Cheese, The Yolker, Northumberland Coffee Co, Churros Of Barcelona, Mr Chipstix, Ciccarelli Artisan Gelato, and Parm’o Fries.
There’ll also be desserts, a dedicated gin bar and a coffee station – with both days set to the curated beats of One20 DJs.
Entry is free and food tokens can be purchased on-site. Attendees are invited to sample a variety of dishes from different vendors before casting their vote for a favourite on the Food Battles website. The winner will be announced following the event.
Presented by 44Events – which is behind Battle of the Burger, Slice Wars, and The Mexican StandOff – the event takes place noon-10.30pm on both days.
