Husband-and-wife team Patrick and Karen Wilkin have scooped a three-star Great Taste Award for their oak-smoked kippers.

The duo, who run Swallow Fish in Seahouses, also won awards for their salmon pâté, oak-smoked wild salmon and white crabmeat.

“We use traditional oak sawdust and let the natural flavours speak for themselves,” says Patrick, left.
