Six Rooftop will host its first chef’s dining experience, A Taste of Spring, on Friday May 31 with tables available from 5.30pm.
A limited number of guests will be part of an interactive journey through a unique nine-course tasting menu celebrating spring’s first flush of produce, with each dish cooked by SIX Rooftop’s food director Greg Lambert.
Greg will be showcasing ingredients from some of the finest local suppliers and producers, some of which are located within a few miles of the restaurant door. Dishes will feature produce from the likes of Taste Tradition, Portland Shellfish, Herb Fed Chicken and Gilchester Organics as well as Wiltshire Truffle.
Greg said: ‘’We’ve decided to launch our first chef’s dining experience to celebrate SIX Rooftop recently being awarded two AA rosettes for culinary excellence and earning a listing in the Michelin Guide. Both are huge for the entire team, and we all wanted to host an exclusive event to celebrate with our guests and mark the occasion properly. What better way to do it than with the new season’s produce incorporated into a special producer-led tasting menu designed to show something of our future ambition for SIX.’’
The nine-course tasting menu is priced at £95 per person and includes a welcome drink on arrival. A matched drinks pairing will also be available, as well as several seasonal cocktails.
