Chef to the stars Gary Dall is back home in Whitley Bay, serving up amazing food to locals who can’t quite believe their luck. A veteran of tour bus kitchens with the likes of Van Morrison, Kasabian, and Girls Aloud, Gary’s daily changing menu at The Roxburgh included on just one day last week, summer veg soup with pistou, chargrilled ox tongue donner kebab, roasted bone marrow with parsley salad and toast, pork belly and black pudding, poussin with smoked bacon and sweetcorn mash, and potato gnocchi with tomatoes, basil and white onion. Everything is homemade in the tiny kitchen, including the dog biscuits! Check the Facebook page for opening times – and then go, before everyone gets to hear about it!
