Raise a glass at Seahouses Beer Festival October 21-23

Top beers and sea view are on offer at The Olde Ship as the historic Seahouses pub stages its own beer festival.

The pub, which overlooks the harbour, will welcome some of the region’s top independent breweries for three days of celebrations from October 21-23.

More than 30 guest ales will be available alongside the pub’s usual best sellers, including Hadrian Border Brewery, Cheviot Brewery, Cullercoats, Tyne Bank and Great North East Brewers.

The pub is also adding to its regular lunchtime and evening menus for the event, with a selection of fast food favourites, including burgers and hot dogs, available.

The festival starts at noon each day and will run into the evening, with visitors able to drink inside the pub or in the heated areas outside.

“We’ve got a fantastic range of beers on offer which really celebrate breweries across the North East,” said Oliver Bennett, co-director of the Inn Hospitality Group which owns The Olde Ship. “It’s a great opportunity for beer aficionados, or just anyone who wants a nice day out, to come along and check out what we have on offer.”

The day will also include a charity raffle to raise funds for the Seahouses festive lights, with a range of prizes on offer which have been donated by local businesses.
