Newcastle’s Leila Lily’s launches Eva Rose private dining room and event space

Newcastle’s Leila Lily’s has launched an exclusive new private dining room and event space.

The team at the Grey Street venue plans to build on the success of its £1.5m, AA-rosette restaurant and bar with the opening of Eva Rose in the lower ground floor beneath Leila Lily’s.

The space incorporates a bar, which can hold up to 60 guests, and a dining area that can accommodate up to 18 people – both lavishly decorated with bespoke wallpapers and soft furnishings. There is also a DJ booth and stage, and the venue holds a late licence until 2am.

Food will be provided by Leila Lily’s award-winning team of chefs, who can create anything from canapés, afternoon teas and formal dining menus to buffets and menus for children’s parties, wedding receptions and themed celebrations.

While Leila Lily’s is named after chief operations officer Atul Malhotra’s oldest daughter, Eva Rose takes its name from his youngest. “And, like sisters, the two venues are alike in some ways and very different in others,” said Atul. “Both venues are opulently decorated and visitors to Eva Rose will find the same high standards of food and service. Our aim when creating Eva Rose was to fill a gap in the market – a space which lends itself as well to private parties and family events as it does to more restrained, formal occasions.”
