The Newcastle Allotment & Garden Show returns to Leazes Park on September 18 with Urban Green Newcastle bringing growers from across the region together to show off their best produce, and celebrate with a wide range of activities and entertainment for the whole family.
The show is open to the public 11am-4pm on Sunday September 18. The day will be jam-packed, giving everyone the chance to admire the fantastic efforts of the entrants, visit stalls celebrating the best local produce, and get hands-on with workshops.
Throughout the day you can also enjoy a whole host of entertainment, including live music performances; talks from experts in beekeeping, climate change, growing your own produce; and yoga or tai chi. There will also be community stalls and food and drink vendors too, including Ringtons.
There’s plenty for the kids to get stuck into as well, with min fairground rides, creative activities with the Beelines North East team and Curious Arts, and face painting.
