Great work on the part of the gin festival kings at Planet Juniper, who have brought us two fantastic events in Newcastle and Durham in the last three months. Backed by appetite, our sister titles Cheers and The Northumbrian, and the folks at Relish Publications, the festivals at Durham CCC’s Emirates Riverside ground in Chester-le-Street and at South Northumberland Cricket Club in Gosforth, Newcastle, showcased beautiful botanicals from producers including Lakes Distillery, Durham Distillery, and Poetic License, along with amazing street food from producers including Dabbawal, Scream for Pizza, and The Little Fishy.
