Blackfriars’ traditional Burns’ Night supper will feature the usual elements of a night with the great Scottish poet and romanticist, including the Selkirk Grace, address to and cutting of the haggis before a supper of cock-a-leekie soup; haggis, neeps and tatties; cranachan; and cheese. A dram of whisky will be served with each course and to accompany the odd toast and Burns’ poem.
Tickets are £59 per person including traditional Burns’ supper, whisky tasting and coffee (£30 for kids – without the whisky!).
