Chef Lulu grew up in Northern China and uses her cooking to share her culture with diners; Lulu’s events are all about connections, and she delights in showcasing cuisine that people may not have come across before.
Her Supper Club events have proved incredibly popular; dining with Lulu isn’t just about food, she works hard to foster connections amongst strangers, using food and conversation as a catalyst for discovery.
The Supper Club takes place at a secret Newcastle location revealed 2-3 days before the event. Her Moonlight In China events on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Friday 25 September will have an autumnal focus across an eight-course set menu which will also include Chinese tea pairings; while on Saturday 10 October Lulu celebrates the Supper Club’s first anniversary with a special pop-up afternoon and evening event inspired by Chinese night markets, showcasing five street food dishes from across China and even including birthday cake!
