Brocksbushes Farm Shop will be bringing the spirit of the 1940s to life with three days of live entertainment, vintage displays and family fun over the late May Bank Holiday weekend.
The free event takes place 10am-5pm on Saturday May 23, Sunday May 24 and Monday May 25, with no tickets or entry fees required.
There is a packed programme of entertainment and interactive experiences for all ages, with visitors encouraged to dust off their tea dresses, braces and flat caps – if they wish – and join in the fun. There will be prizes for the best dressed guests as well as live music; vintage vehicles and displays; re-enactments and period costumes, a gun-firing show at 11am and a battle re-enactment at 2pm; and themed food, shopping and sweet treats.
Brocksbushes’ Rose Dickinson said: “Our 1940s Weekend was such a fantastic event last year and we’re excited to welcome everyone back for three days packed with entertainment, community spirit and family fun. Best of all, it’s completely free to attend.”
