Paul Johnson has joined The Lord Crewe Arms, Blanchland as head chef.
Paul – who has won high praise at venues across the region, including his own pub, since returning to the North East after three years with two Michelin-starred chef Nathan Outlaw in Cornwall – will lead the kitchen at the famed Northumbrian bolthole.
“I’m over the moon to be able to join The Lord Crewe and add to its long history as a place for great seasonal food and hospitality in the Northumbrian countryside,” said Paul. “Having developed my own style since returning to the North East, and built contacts with some of the region’s best producers, I’m looking forward to this new challenge.”
