Craggy-faced one-time culinary enfant terrible Marco Pierre White popped up in Durham city recently to officially open the latest Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, Bar & Grill in the city’s redeveloped Old Shire Hall, home to Hotel Indigo. The menu includes classics and modern bistro dishes from prawn cocktail to steak and ale pie, baked Camembert and 35-day aged native breed steaks.
