Our wanderings along Hadrian’s Wall have brought us up close with this impressive addition at the excellent Twice Brewed Inn, Bardon Mill, near Hexham. The 12ft beer bottle sculpture, complete with Roman centurion photo peep board, is a prime selfie stop-off point in preparation for a pint or three of Twice Brewed Brew House ales such as Ale Caesar, Sycamore Gap Pale Ale and Vindolanda Excavation.
