Slug & Lettuce is bringing its ice cream van to Newcastle with free ice cream on offer on August 30.
The van is touring the UK this summer, giving away 500 free ice creams in each location. The first 30 early birds will also receive an exclusive goodie bag, and you can also scan a QR code to get a free summer cocktail at any Slug & Lettuce throughout the summer months (T&Cs apply).
The ice cream van will be at the Quayside Car Park (behind the Hard Rock Café) from noon on August 30.
Meanwhile, Slug & Lettuce will be serving up four new ice cream-inspired cocktails until September 30.
- Fab You Lous: Gordon’s Premium Pink gin, grenadine and strawberry syrup with lemon juice and pineapple juice, topped off with sprinkles (of course!)
- Mag Yum: Smirnoff Red Label vodka, Disaronno Velvet cream liqueur and caramel syrup, finished with chocolate powder
- Slugero: Havana Club 3-year-old rum, Malibu coconut rum, passionfruit purée and mango juice, finished with squirty cream
- Tongue Twister: Smirnoff Vanilla vodka, melon liqueur, lemon juice and apple juice, drizzled with grenadine
Slug & Lettuce will also be hosting two themed bottomless brunches to celebrate the season in style. Live it up like a Love Islander or get your groove on to music from Grease on August 28 and September 24.
