Running from 5-11 October, the Hexham & Tynedale Restaurant Week will celebrate the wide range of food and drink businesses in the region, including independent restaurants, cafés, pubs and takeaways.
The initiative, which launched last year, is the brainchild of hospitality professional Elise Geddes, who wants to use experiences in the industry to showcase the wonderful independent eateries that make the area special. “Restaurant Week has grown since we started in March 2025, and reaching our fourth event is something I am really proud of.” Elise says. “It is about bringing the hospitality community together, showcasing the fantastic businesses we have and encouraging people to discover somewhere new.”
Restaurants taking part in the week-long celebrations include Battlesteads, The Beaumont Hotel, The Boatside Inn, Bouchon Bistrot, Brocksbushes, Buongiorno’s, Cilantro, The County Hotel, Danielle’s Bistro, Little Mexico, Lord Crewe Arms, The Milecastle Inn, Nomi Restaurant, Oh La La Café, The Rat Inn, The Robin Hood Inn, Saathi, Stalida Greek Taverna, Vercelli Restaurant and ZYKA Restaurant.
