Hadrian’s Hotel in Wall, Northumberland has hosted its first Perfect Pair event – celebrating fine dining and Italian wines as it brought together the expertise of the kitchen team in its Willow Restaurant and the rich heritage of Antinori wines.
Guests enjoyed a four-course menu crafted to complement a selection of wines from the Antinori portfolio. Highlights included Creedy Carver Duck paired with Marchese Antinori Cuvée Royal Franciacorta, North Sea Halibut matched with Antinori Le Mortelle Vivia, and Allendale Venison Tenderloin served alongside Antinori Pèppoli Chianti Classico. The evening concluded with a creative layered parsnip cake dessert complemented by Marchese Antinori Vin Santo del Chianti Classico.
Following the success of the first event, the team is planning to host more wine events in the coming months.
