Global flavours added to Dot Bagels menu

Dot Bagels at Chillingham Road, Newcastle, has grown its menu with new additions encompassing flavours from around the world – from the Middle East to the United States.

To complement the North East Parmo bagel, the team has created a New York version with a breaded chicken breast, marinara sauce – tomatoes, herbs and garlic – mozzarella cheese, signature Dot sauce, and rocket.

There’s also Shawarma Del Rey – which is suitable for vegans and features a jackfruit version of the Middle Eastern spit-roasted spiced kebab with chopped salad, pickled red cabbage, tangy mango amba sauce, and vegan garlic mayonnaise. The third addition, Sriracha Slide, is also vegan and is made from tofu fried in a sriracha, maple, sesame and soy sauce with pickled carrot and mooli slaw, cucumber, spring onion, sesame seeds, and vegan mayonnaise.

Meanwhile, the Hallou-me? bagel is filled with roasted Mediterranean vegetables, halloumi, pesto, balsamic glaze and rocket.

For pizza lovers, there’s also new pizza bagels and pizza pops – small round potato bites coated with marinara sauce and topped with mozzarella.

The new additions join Dot Bagels’ existing menu, which includes a selection of all-day breakfast bagels and American-inspired offerings.
