Fresh from a stint at appetite favourite Arlo under Brian James, young chef Aidan Jackson has ventured out on his own to open Aidan’s Kitchen in Sandyford, Newcastle. Aidan’s has a relaxed feel with a diverse menu featuring everything from a traditional full English breakfast to harissa-spiced tomato and pepper stew, smashed avocado with red chillies, and grilled chorizo and halloumi flatbread. There are plenty of cakes, scones and treats on offer too.
