Italian restaurant concept Fratello’s has launched a Summer Sunset menu offering a chance to savour the final days of summer.
The new menu has been designed with sharing in mind and combines traditional Italian flavours with contemporary twists.
Highlights among the small plates and sharers include crispy halloumi fries, calamari with lemon and roasted garlic aioli, creamy burrata and prosciutto, and crispy porcini mushrooms and mascarpone arancini.
Main dishes include a pan-roasted fillet of seabass, slow braised feather blade of beef, and lemon and oregano chicken Milanese. There’s also shepherd’s pie and hand-battered fish and chips. A selection of Italian classics are also on offer, including gnocchi primavera, carbonara, goats’ cheese tortellini and tiger prawn arrabbiata, and stone-baked pizzas.
Alongside Fratello’s – which is located within DoubleTree Newcastle Airport; Holiday Inn Darlington, A1 Scotch Corner; Holiday Inn Jesmond; and Holiday Inn Aberdeen West – variations of the new menu will also be available at the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle until the end of autumn.
